WOW - - Do we have NEWS!!!!!

Our little rat Driver has made a habit lately of climbing up trees he can't get down from. Got a great picture out of it, but we have had to borrow the neighbors ladder twice now and I have had to rescue him w/ one of barstools twice now. You'd think he would learn, but I guess not.

Ms. Mackenzie as of yesterday, 4/27/08, decided to be an overnight success at potty training. Well, not even really potty training b/c I didn't do anything at all, or ever try to get her to use the potty. She just decided she was ready and went all day yesterday in big girl panties w/ no accidents. WOW, that was easy!
Way to go Kenzie Cole!
And she pedaled her tricycle yesterday really well for the first time!

And on the same day, Big Sister Sydni couldn't be shown up. After going roller skating w/ her dad (sorry no pics) and showing up all the kids at the roller skating rink, she decided to come home and wanted her training wheels off. I swear..... I pushed her off and she was GONE!!!!! She was such a pro. She only fell while trying to stop a time or two and rode up and down the street, turning around and everything and made it all look effortless. WAY TO GO SYDNI!!!!

My adorable little rats today after their big day of conquests!!!!

What a proud Mommy I am!!!

Shooters Girls Photo Shoot

Here are my beautiful girls in their newest photos as our Little Shooters Girls. Years ago I framed a picture of Sydni on our pool table and put it up at Shooters. Well, then everyone wanted updated pictures so I put one up of both girls awhile back and it needed updating again. Kenzie didn't even really have hair in the last one. So here are the shots I got today at our little photo shoot. I framed the top two pictures to put up at both locations. It was lots of fun.

Mommy Crashed A Motorbycle!

How stinkin' cute are kids!!! I haven't told this story yet.... our friend Garry brought over his little mini motorcycle last week and said, Oh you guys take it for a ride. Well growing up on a ranch w/ my brother's dirt bike and four wheelers, I thought oh no problem, I can ride that. Well, I got the gears down and got to the end of the "STRAIGHT" side walk and then attempted the TURN. Mind you, this is one of those little motorcycles where the steering is below you. I had the entire width of the main street on the side of our house to turn and I could not get the darn thing to turn. So needless to say, as I neared the curb on the other end of the street, I panicked, goosed it for some stupid reason, and CRASHED bad. I was okay, just a sore collar bone and scratched up and bruised leg, but the bike, not so good. I bent all kinds of things and it wouldn't shift right after that. We'll be getting a bill for that one. ;o)

But I actually just noticed today, when we passed a motorcycle on our street on the way to see our friend Garry and Kenzie started talking about it again that she says "Motorbycle" How cute is that? That's one for the baby book. Anyways, just wanted to share this adorable video I got of her. The quality is nothing great, sorry, it was w/ my camera.

Everybody Loves "Date Night"

Hee Hee! We went to Austin Music Hall last night to see Ray Ramano & Brad Garrett from Everybody Loves Raymond. It was pretty funny. Ray was great, but Brad was a bit of a shocker. He was VERY crude the whole show. His whole act was basically just making fun of audience members. There were funny parts but some where just ridiculous. A bit disappointed in his performance. But it was lots of fun.

And we ate at a FABULOUS place called Mirabelle off of Mesa and Spicewood Springs. It was so delicious. It was rated #3 best restaurant in Austin on something we found online. Definitely one of the best!!!!

What a Glorious Day in Austin TX!

The Millers on Beautiful Lake Travis!

WOW!!!! We woke up, went to church, went to eat, came home and changed and hit the lake for the first time this year. It was awesome. What a gorgeous day. It was windy and the water was a little choppy but other than that, it was perfect out there. The girls had a great time even though they couldn't swim yet. We all got lots of Vitamin D today and it was just great. Can't wait for another wonderful season on the boat. Man we love that thing and are so glad we got it. Hope you all can join us sometime!!!

We're Still Around :o/

Sorry it has been so long since I posted. Things have been super crazy around here. Chris and his mom went to Vegas almost two weeks ago and the night they got back at almost 1am Chris could tell he was getting sick. So all the next day, Friday, and Saturday he felt really bad. He went to an urgent care place on Saturday and got some meds and was just in bed most of the day. Saturday night at 3:30 am he got up to pee and I was up too b/c I was down in back and wasn't sleeping well. He came back to bed and said he felt like he was going to pass out. He laid down and few seconds later he went into a seizure. He had never had one before and I can tell you it was the most traumatic experience of my life. He stiffened up and his back was arched, his head cocked all the way back and his eyes rolled back. I screamed his name I don't know how many times, ran around the bed, ran back around the bed to get the phone, thought to call 911 but decided to call his mom for some stupid reason, mis dialed her phone # and called his cell # twice and then finally got her on the phone. He came out of it and was totally out of it. He was staring right through me and I literally thought he had gone blind. Then in walks my poor baby girl, Sydni. My screaming had woke her up and she was awake the rest of the night. We decided to call 911 and have them come get him b/c we were scared it would happen again in the car on the way to the hospital. So they came and took him to the new hospital in Cedar Park and Linda went w/ him. He was there until about 1 the next afternoon. They said it was caused from the high fever he had, dehydration and he had taken a muscle relaxer the dr. gave him that could have caused it.

So needless to say, we have had a rough week or so. Sydni broke down at school on Tues. after it happened and it just broke our hearts. She was so scared still and just didn't know what to think or make of it all. She didn't act scared at all while it was happening but we knew it had to have traumatized her.

Then we have just all been sick w/ allergies and I was down in my back for 2 weeks. It is just now better. And Chris didn't start feeling better until Thurs. of this week and didn't get out of the house until Friday. He had strep, a really bad sinus infection and acute bronchitis.

FUN FUN STUFF!!!!

Hope everyone else has been doing better since I last posted.
