Sydni's Camping Trip With Gunk

Mouth full of marshmallows!

Her favorite thing they did was roast marshmallows

Sydni & her one and only favorite uncle

One of Kenzie too from her cousin's birthday party

Well, Sydni had a great weekend and finally got to go camping w/ my brother. She LOVED it. They went there in Smithville right by my brothers house at a state park. She had a blast and created tons of wonderful memories to cherish a lifetime w/ her aunt, uncle and baby cousin.

THANKS GUNK & KATIE!

My Pretty Little Witches

We had a blast last night for Halloween. All the family was here and the girls had so much fun. They each loved their complimenting witch costumes too. Sydni said she was a good witch and Kenzie said she was a bad one.

Look at this whack job!!!

Okay, took Sydni to Snip Its which is the most adorable kids haircut place I have ever seen, but this is what we ended up with. I mean seriously, how hard is it to do a long layer haircut on a five year old who was PERFECTLY still the whole time?

When we got it done, I couldn't tell it was this bad b/c the girl did is curly. But we were getting it trimmed for school pictures tomorrow and when we blew it dry tonight after their bath, we could really assess the damage. WOW!!! I mean do you see how much longer it is on the left side? And there are just random lengths all over the place.

I was in a state of panic at 7:30 tonight just freaking out. Luckily we ran down the street and a Cost Cutters was still open and this little Asian lady, Chong, did a great job of fixing it.

UGH!!!!!!!!!!!

The Lone Picture

Well, this is the lone picture from our trip. This was in beautiful Egg Harbor which is up the bay in Door County. We took the drive up there about 4 years ago but hadn't managed to make it back until this year. It was lovely. The trees haven't turned up there yet as this is the earliest in the year we have ever been to Green Bay. But it was still beautiful.
And we found a new favorite fudge shoppe since the one we loved last time closed on us. It was called Gomy's Goodies and the cutest couple owns it and makes all the fudge.

Hopefully my friend Heather may have some other pictures from the rest of our VERY eventful weekend. We had a BLAST even though our Packers lost.

:o)

Unfreakin Believable Talent

If these two boys are not the most talented guys on the face of the planet, then I just don't know who is. If you haven't been following America's Got Talet then you have certainly missed some of the most moving performances you will ever see. This clip tells a little about their story, two brothers, raised by a single mom in NY that managed to send them both to the most prestigious music school in the country. They started playing around age 8. If they don't win this show and get their own act in Vegas I will just be sick to my stomach. They are incredible, unbelievable and truly inspirational.

Kenzie's First Updo!!!!

Sydni got her hair done like this for school (sorry on pics), so Kenzie thought she had to have it just like Sissy's. It worked pretty good. And it was just too cute not to snap some shots of. We have been SUPER busy w/ school and extra after school stuff. I need to get some pictures soon.

We are headed to Green Bay this weekend for the Packers v. Cowboys game. We are going w/ some friends of ours who are Cowboys fans so it should be a great time and certainly a GREAT game.

GO PACK GO!!!!!!

Been A Bit Crafty Lately!

Charlie's Name Frame Up Close (if you click on it you can read it if you want)

Matched her room quite perfectly!

Finally got Kenzie's step stool made.

Think it turned out pretty good

Love me some butterflies

I have been a bit crafty here lately. I actually made another name frame for Brady, our good friend Rick's little boy but forgot to take a picture. It turned out really cute too. Maybe I will try to get a picture of it soon. And I of course had to make my new little niece a name frame and finally got around to making Kenzie her step stool . I have had it forever and just never painted it. I felt so bad, very happy that it is done now.

Where does the time go??????

6:40 a.m. and her special plate and special bear I had when I was little.

She picked her outfit for the first day. It just happened to match her new lunch bag!

Found her locker and was pretty proud

Just being Sydni right off the bat. Aiyanna is pretty shy so hopefully Sissy will spice up her life a bit. ;O)

Picking her up after school. Went pretty smooth!!

Sydni's own words about her first day of school.

Well, everything went GREAT today. We all took her to school and walked her into her class. She was a champ and put everything where it belonged and sat right down and started coloring. She made a new friend (Aiyanna, sitting next her in the photos). She said she loved school and can't wait to go back tomorrow.

Dad asked if she was the tallest kid in the class and she animatedly said "YES" moving her hand from head to toe, "My teacher said I was the longgggest kid in class and had the biggest feet!"

What a milestone!!!!! I didn't cry at all dropping her off. I almost did driving to school but finally lost it after we got home and I was looking at the pictures. I just don't know how 5 years have already gone by!

Please enjoy sharing this wonderful day with us!

The Circus Is In Town, The Circus Is In Town!!!!

Watching every move ! (In the beginning!)

Enjoying their $12 each cotton candy that came w/ this fabulous hat.
(Yes, that's right....$24 for 2 cotton candies)

Our little clowns!

Cutie Pie!

We took the kids to the circus this afternoon. It was actually really good, now I'm not sure that they can claim "The Greatest Show On Earth" anymore, at one time maybe, but not so sure these days w/ all the great stuff you can see in Vegas. But it was really great. They had a blast and Mom & Dad were even able to enjoy it.

Could My Kid Be A Bigger Mess?

Sound asleep standing between couch and end table!

This poor kid may be a more accident prone 2 year old than her big sister was. Notice the black eye still, the skinned elbow from falling off her bike and the blister on the foot that needed a band-aid.
And she has been waking up at night and just staying awake for hours at a time. This morning she woke up at 5 am and never went back to sleep, hence...... falling asleep standing up!!!!!
What a mess my little Kenzie Cole is!!!!

Gotta Love Her!!

Daddy's New Toy!

Here you will find Daddy's latest toy he had to have. We ordered it online and were expecting it to be shipped assembled already. Well, were we in for a big shock. It was hardly assembled. THANK GOD for handy neighbors. I felt so bad we had to get two of our neighbors to help Chris for hours and hours and one of his friends, but they were all like a bunch of school boys excited over a new toy. It was funny. After many beers and lots of sweat, it was finished about 11 last night. It is pretty fun. We still have to break it in. ~~~ And figure out where we will use this thing ~~~ :o/

The view from our balcony! GORGEOUS!

The girls ready to float the Comal!

The Miller Clan

Dadda & Kenzie

We had a great time this year in New Braunfels. We stayed in some beautiful condos called Waterwheel Resort Condos. They were right by everything. Just minutes to Landa Park and to get to where you can float the comal and the guadalupe actually ran behind the property. Chris, Sydni, Kenzie, my mom and I all floated the first day. It was fun. We did the comal and the tube chute and other rapids scared me to death w/ Kenzie but she did fine, Chris held her on those and she was in my lap the rest of the time. She even fell asleep the last 30 minutes of the float. The next day Sydni, Chris, Jeff, Ryan and I all floated. It was fun too other than the few minutes I was thrown from my tube and sucked into the under current at the end of the tube chute. It was really scary. I have heard of that happening but it had never happened to me. I was directly underneath the lifeguards when I was thrown from my tube and went under. The water was only like 5 ft deep and I pushed off the bottom like 3 times and could not get to the top of the water. I somehow grabbed the thing the lifeguards threw me but have no idea how I got out of it.

Weston, Katie & Charlie came and stayed w/ the us the last night but weren't able to float. We grilled hamburgers, visited and then went to Gruene the next morning. It was lots of fun! Can't wait to go again!
