Ruff, Ruff!!!!

Oh my goodness what a fun birthday party! We had 8 little girls and tons of fun. Kookie Kiwi the Clown (dressed as the fairy princess) came w/ her incredible talents of face painting and balloon twisting. The girls were amazed and so entertained. It was just a great day. Sydni got TONS of guess what........ Dogs!!! It was definitely a 2 Paws Up Party!

The Land of the Unicorns!!!!

Well, we have already had our first "I'm running away" episode. Oh the drama in the life of a five year old. The other day I was getting the girls ready and mentioned I couldn't believe Sydni would be five in a few days. Kenzie started saying "My birthday, my birthday" so of course this started an argument over whose birthday was coming up. Then Kenzie mentioned Gigi and PawPaw and I said they would be coming in a few days. So Sydni had to spurt out, "Yeah, they are coming to bring MY birthday presents" Then I said I thought they were bringing Kenzie a little something too b/c I knew Sydni was just trying to rub it in. Well, Sydni didn't want to hear that so she ran out of Kenzie's room, slammed the door and went into her room. I continued to get Kenzie dressed and Sydni barely popped her head in the door and said, "Bye, I'm leaving..... I'm going to the Land of the Unicorns where no one is mean to me....... Bye" Of course I was rolling. I said okay, have fun, be careful. I decided I better go check after I got Kenzie dressed, and sure enough as I rounded the corner I heard the front door unlock and open. The little shit was out the door and walking down the street. It took a good long while to convince her to come back home. Then later I was on the computer and found a unicorn sticker on the mouse.
I said "What is this?" She said she put it there before she left. I said "Oh was that so we would remember you?" She said very sadly, "YES" I am almost frightened to know what lies ahead!!!!!!

Where have the last FIVE years gone? I just can't believe you are getting so big. It is quite unbelievable. You are one in a million, like no other. A pure sassy frass little joy! We love you soooooo much.

Yummy Grub

This is for you Austinites. The next time you want to go out and enjoy a beautiful day in Austin, TX and have some delicious food while you are at it......... go here! It is on Barton Springs Rd. next to Austin Java and Chuy's. They have their own brewery and seasonal beers. And even this cool little sampler of the different beers!

85 Degrees in February!

What a glorious and HOT day. Here are a few pics of everyone but Daddy (Monday is his day to run around for Shooters & our day to stay home) outside today enjoying the weather.

The face of an angel! Too bad it only last a few seconds ;o)

Just a swingin'

Whatever It Takes!

Getting Ms. Mackenzie up and ready and out the door is a bit of a challenge these days. As you can see here, much effort is needed. This is Big Sis pretending (well not really) to put on Mackenzie's clothes so she will then in turn want them and put them on. This was a pretty hilarious attempt by Sydni who put it all on, diaper and all.

This is the little toot who was not so amazed by Sissy's attempt but did eventually get ready and made it to the Y and got a second wind while she was there. I'm sure she had just woke up from her nap here.

Busy, Busy, Busy.................

Since Valentine's Day we have been so super busy. Chris and I went out Friday night to a nice dinner at Fredda's Seafood Grill and then went to Shooters. I have to say it was the best time I have had in a long time. We had an AWESOME band (Jukebox Heroes) and we hung out, chilled, and then danced the night away. Well me and this goofy guy that hung out w/ us all night that teaches swing dancing. It was soooooo much fun. He flipped me backwards 2 or 3 times and taught me how to do this crazy dip. The girlfriends of the band guys were there too and tons of fun. It was a good night.

Saturday was not so fun, the weather was dreadful and everyone in the house was cranky and tired. Thank you Lord, Sunday was GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!!! We got up, headed to Krispy Kreme for some breakfast and then stopped by Barton Creek Mall before we headed to Barton Springs all afternoon. There is a huge playscape for the kids, a train, snacks, a clown doing balloon twisting, tons of interesting people to watch, and lots of DOGS. My girls loves Dogs. Then we ate a Trudy's. YUMMY YUMMY!!!! And finally ended up at Gunk's house for the evening. They got to walk his dog and just loved it. The day was so beautiful. One of those days that just makes you so happy to be alive. It was wonderful. I forgot the camera though. :o(

Monday was a busy errand day and the day we go to the YMCA. Tuesday the girls had school and Mommy ran all over town. Today we are catching up w/ laundry and heading back to the YMCA this afternoon.

The Day of Love!

Sisterly Love!

My Big Sweet Girl!

We had a "lovely" day. The girls went to school and had all their Valentine's Day festivities and Chris and I ran around while we had the house cleaned. Oh, nothing better than coming home to a freshly cleaned house!!!!! Then we had a late afternoon nap and got up and played outside awhile. Then we decided to all go out to eat. We went to our favorite little dive of a seafood place. It was lots of fun and there was no where else I wanted to be. Chris and I are going out Friday night for our nice dinner and then to Shooters for a great band and some fun.

Hope everyone had a wonderful day!!!!!

Trip to the Ranch!

Finally, I'm Here!

Well, since I won't post pics on MySpace, I am finally taking the time to try this blog thing. I LOVE getting all the updated stories and pictures from my friends that have blogs so I guess I will give it a shot. Now I can't guarantee how well I will be able to keep up with it, but I will try.
