The Lone Picture

Well, this is the lone picture from our trip. This was in beautiful Egg Harbor which is up the bay in Door County. We took the drive up there about 4 years ago but hadn't managed to make it back until this year. It was lovely. The trees haven't turned up there yet as this is the earliest in the year we have ever been to Green Bay. But it was still beautiful.
And we found a new favorite fudge shoppe since the one we loved last time closed on us. It was called Gomy's Goodies and the cutest couple owns it and makes all the fudge.

Hopefully my friend Heather may have some other pictures from the rest of our VERY eventful weekend. We had a BLAST even though our Packers lost.

:o)

Unfreakin Believable Talent

If these two boys are not the most talented guys on the face of the planet, then I just don't know who is. If you haven't been following America's Got Talet then you have certainly missed some of the most moving performances you will ever see. This clip tells a little about their story, two brothers, raised by a single mom in NY that managed to send them both to the most prestigious music school in the country. They started playing around age 8. If they don't win this show and get their own act in Vegas I will just be sick to my stomach. They are incredible, unbelievable and truly inspirational.

Kenzie's First Updo!!!!

Sydni got her hair done like this for school (sorry on pics), so Kenzie thought she had to have it just like Sissy's. It worked pretty good. And it was just too cute not to snap some shots of. We have been SUPER busy w/ school and extra after school stuff. I need to get some pictures soon.

We are headed to Green Bay this weekend for the Packers v. Cowboys game. We are going w/ some friends of ours who are Cowboys fans so it should be a great time and certainly a GREAT game.

GO PACK GO!!!!!!

Been A Bit Crafty Lately!

Charlie's Name Frame Up Close (if you click on it you can read it if you want)

Matched her room quite perfectly!

Finally got Kenzie's step stool made.

Think it turned out pretty good

Love me some butterflies

I have been a bit crafty here lately. I actually made another name frame for Brady, our good friend Rick's little boy but forgot to take a picture. It turned out really cute too. Maybe I will try to get a picture of it soon. And I of course had to make my new little niece a name frame and finally got around to making Kenzie her step stool . I have had it forever and just never painted it. I felt so bad, very happy that it is done now.

Where does the time go??????

6:40 a.m. and her special plate and special bear I had when I was little.

She picked her outfit for the first day. It just happened to match her new lunch bag!

Found her locker and was pretty proud

Just being Sydni right off the bat. Aiyanna is pretty shy so hopefully Sissy will spice up her life a bit. ;O)

Picking her up after school. Went pretty smooth!!

Sydni's own words about her first day of school.

Well, everything went GREAT today. We all took her to school and walked her into her class. She was a champ and put everything where it belonged and sat right down and started coloring. She made a new friend (Aiyanna, sitting next her in the photos). She said she loved school and can't wait to go back tomorrow.

Dad asked if she was the tallest kid in the class and she animatedly said "YES" moving her hand from head to toe, "My teacher said I was the longgggest kid in class and had the biggest feet!"

What a milestone!!!!! I didn't cry at all dropping her off. I almost did driving to school but finally lost it after we got home and I was looking at the pictures. I just don't know how 5 years have already gone by!

Please enjoy sharing this wonderful day with us!
