Our Little Luv Bug is Gone

Well, we were out of town and had to get the sad news from Chris' mom who was feeding the animals that Luv had passed away. She had been just fine the day before when Linda checked on her and fed her. We are not sure what happened. She was the prettiest little rabbit I have ever seen and although I don't think she was too crazy about us, we loved her and will sure miss her.

Well, as many of you know we are HUGE Packers fans and have been going to Green Bay for a game for the last 6 or so years.

I have just been heartbroken over the chain of events that are still in limbo surrounding Brett Favre's desire to come back and continue to play. I just don't get how an organization that Favre has dedicated his career to can turn on him and publicly disrespect him so. So what if he has been wishy washy on retirement for years. Everyone has just been pressuring him to b/c he was reaching the age where it is the norm, but the man loves football and doesn't want to quit playing. I respect him for that and just hope his desire to play hasn't been too much of a negative factor in his family life and especially for his beautiful wife and daughters. But other than that, how can you fault the guy for just loving the game so much.

Just can't believe everything that is happening and I am so saddened by it all. I hope this all works out for Favre and he can come to some kind of peaceful decision. We are going to Green Bay at the end of September for the Packers vs. Cowboys game w/ our good friends the Ramseys who are die hard Cowboys fans. It should be a blast. I just hope I don't have too many feelings of resentment for the team we have supported for so long.

Girls Night Out!!

My great friends Lisha, Dana and I all got together while Lisha was in town and had a wonderful Girls Night Out!!! We went to Ceramic Cellar and painted before going to dinner at Freda's Seafood Grille and then ending up at Shooters for great fun and flippy cup!!!!! We had a blast and it was so wonderful to be back w/ my girls. Oh I miss them lots. Dana is still here in Austin but we just don't get together enough. Hopefully soon I will have some awesome family pictures to share that she is going to take of us.

My plate that I wish would have turned out better. Colors ended up not really matching and specialty paint kinda clustered in certain spots but it was tons of fun and still turned out pretty fun!

OUCH!!

Can anyone guess how I burned myself? If you look close enough you should be able to figure it out. It's upside down but you can clearly see C O N *** (AIR). It hurt really bad the first day and I put Aquaphor on it and it hasn't hurt at all since. It looks terrible but doesn't hurt.
Just thought my pain was amusing!!!!! ;o)

Daddy's Little Girl

Well, people were saying Charlie looked just like Weston but it wasn't until my parents sent me these that it hit me. WOW!!!! It is kinda hard to see unless you can click on it and make it bigger but the one of Weston over my mom's shoulder is a spitting image of Charlie.

We are just thrilled. Everything went great. Katie and Charlie and Weston ;o) are doing great. The girls are thrilled to have another girl in the family. Just can't wait for all these girls to grow up together and create as many wonderful memories as my brother and I have. I am such a proud aunt.

My Little Stinkers

Here are a few new pics of the girls. Kenzie actually got a really cute haircut but you can't really even see it in these pictures. These were taken after church. We are doing great, I have just been so bad about taking pictures a certain little 2 year old has been a really big stinker about posing lately too. We are planning some fun before the end of the summer so I will have to get lots of pictures from that and post more. Sorry it has been so long. I need to get some professional family pictures done really soon too.
